Most program applications will require:  A transcript, either official or unofficial, academic recommendations, short answer application questions, and a $50 application fee.

Some programs require a bit more, such as: Language assessment or additional recommendations, housing waivers, and host institution application materials.

As a reminder, you can only have one application open per term. If you'd like to change your application to a different program, simply alert your advisor.

They'll be able to change the program you're applying to. They'll also be able to preserve any information, you've already added to your application.

If you aren't selected for your top-choice program, you can always communicate backup options to your advisor.

Provided that there's space, your advisor will be able to move your application to a different program. There's no need to open a new application. For academicrecommendations, it's important that you find, a professor or a TA that can speak not only to your, academic, but also your personal qualities.



Short answer questions can often make or break your application, especially if you're applying to a competitive program. For instance, if you're applying to the University of Edinburgh, it’s important to show your study abroad advisor, that you've done research into this program.
